Elyse Busby, originally from Aledo, Texas, grew up in Fort Worth and still maintains a deep love for the city, its history, and the many friendships formed there. In 2006, she traced her steps back to Parker County when her family purchased a ranch in Brock. Growing up around horses and cattle ranching instilled in her a strong work ethic and appreciation of the land.
Continuing family tradition, Elyse was a third-generation Texas Tech University graduate, graduating in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Sciences. While at Tech, she competed on the rodeo team in barrel racing and qualified for the College National Finals Rodeo.
After years of watching her mother’s successful career in the real estate profession, Elyse acquired her Texas Real Estate License, propelled by her desire to help others find their dream homes. Her ability to listen, understand others’ needs, and her attention to detail make her a strong negotiator in handling her clients’ most important real estate investments—whether residential, or farm and ranch. As a resident of North Central Texas her entire life, she brings to her clients a vast knowledge and understanding of the land, the area, and the values of rural life. Elyse’s clients benefit from her wealth of experience in the equine industry—from competing, to training, to breeding—all of which reinforce her recognition of what her clients need in a farm and ranch property.
Elyse loves every aspect of the equine and ranching industry, and at Busby Quarter Horses in Brock, Texas, she and her family raise barrel racing and performance horses. In her spare time, she enjoys – surprise – training barrel horses, competing at rodeos, and spending time with her family and friends.
