Ian Moore was born in Montreal, Canada and came to the United States as a child in 1952. He grew up in Detroit, Michigan, attending Central Michigan University where he majored in history and minored in political science.
After graduating college, Ian’s next adventure was joining the United States Marine Corps, where he served four years’ active duty and two years in the reserves.
For the next twenty-three years, Ian immersed himself in the world of retail sales, representing the recognizable brands of Jantzen Sportswear and Panhandle Slim. In this capacity, he travelled extensively throughout the lower-forty-eight sates, contacting clients and promoting his products. Despite his heavy travel schedule, Ian has called Texas “home” for forty years.
After a successful career in retail sales, Ian obtained his Texas REALTOR®’s license. He has worked in real estate for twelve years and has an extensive knowledge of real estate in Granbury, Texas.
Ian and his wife have four sons and five grandchildren. They call Granbury “home,” and attend Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, where Ian has served as past Senior Warden. Committed to community service and local politics, Ian served an effective term on the Granbury City council.
