Joanie Sellers Edwards grew up in Fort Worth, Texas and attended college in San Angelo, Texas where she studied journalism. As a licensed REALTOR® since 2000, she found her passion in farm and ranch real estate, in land development, and in commercial real estate, including the interesting niche market of hotels.
While commercial and ranch real estate are areas of her expertise, she readily admits that making long-lasting friendships with her residential clients is equally rewarding. Joanie is a versatile REALTOR® with excellent location and research skills that help buyers make informed decisions.
Working with some of the largest land development companies, both as a buyer’s agent as well as a seller’s agent for the past 12 years, gives her a deep understanding of the intricacies of each transaction, going far beyond just representing the parties. From Phase One Environmental Assessments, to Entitlement of Land issues, she has worked in all areas of development. As a listing agent, Joanie is aggressive with marketing property that shows and sells. Her work ethic and business philosophy is simple: “If you help enough people get what they want, you’ll get what you want.” With over twenty-million-dollars in sales, Joanie brings the same expertise and experience to each client, no matter the scope of the transaction.
Joanie and her husband reside in rural Parker County. Her partnership with her husband of twenty years, Jud, a fourth generation cattle rancher, gives her a great advantage when it comes to the agricultural and livestock capabilities of marketable ranches. Besides being a REALTOR® and a rancher, Joanie enjoys scouring estate sales for marketable antiques, and is also a published author of non-fiction, inspirational books.
