Patty Collins, a native Texan, grew up as the daughter of a successful Texas football coach. For most, that might be the end of the story. But for Patty, there is so much more. From an earlyage, she learned the value of fulfilling dreams, the importance of communication, thesignificance of an impeccable work ethic, and the worth of unimpeachable integrity. Patty’s intention is to always provide excellent customer service, whether it is for sellers, buyers, or property managers. She loves developing new businesses in her community, and while her heart is with preserving the history and quaint environment that so many cherish, her eye focuses on the future.
After studying real estate in college, she obtained her Texas REALTOR®’s license in 1984 while working for Lincoln Property Company in Dallas. There she was involved in all aspects of commercial real estate including finance, construction, and management of office buildings. When her husband was transferred to San Diego, she continued her career by working in La Jolla, California for American Assets and joined the Commercial Property Management Team. Upon returning to her beloved Texas, she worked for Realty Capital Corporation in Grapevine, Texas where she managed 21 lease properties. With a passion for the “home town” environment, she seized the opportunity to work with a developer on Main Street in Grapevine where she managed and leased Westwood Centre, which included office space, an executive suite, and retail space. As a member of the Grapevine Chamber of Commerce, she took part in her town’s many festivals.
Patty’s husband was again transferred, this time to Houston, so she began another exciting project leasing office space on the newly developed Waterway. When Exxon decided to build their campus nearby, she expanded her experience beyond commercial real estate to include residential for Gooch Flencher Real Estate. Joining The Woodlands Chamber of Commerce, Montgomery County Association of Business Women, Conroe Chamber of Commerce, Houston Board of Realtors, and Commercial Real Estate Association of Montgomery County kept Patty busy and engaged in her community. Gaining notoriety for her involvement, she was awarded the prestigious “Can Do” Award from BusinesSuites owner, Lucy Baines Johnson.
Another transfer from her husband’s company landed them back in North Texas where she resides in Granbury. Expanding her wealth of knowledge and experience in the real estate market, she now includes Farm and Ranch clients while still actively representing residential and commercial properties. Her memberships include the Greater Metro West Association of Realtors, Granbury Chamber of Commerce, Women’s Club of Granbury, and Preserve Granbury.
Patty and her husband have a son, a daughter, and five wonderful grandchildren. In her sparetime, she loves spending time with her family and supporting her community.
