Tanya Cranford, though not a Gypsy, enjoyed a wandering childhood and grew up in various towns dotted across the US. When she turned 17, she and her family settled in North Texas, a place with which her father was familiar – he’d grown up in Oklahoma and Texas and still had family scattered throughout the Lone Star State. No matter where “home” was at any particular moment in time, horses were a constant in Tanya’s life. Growing up with equines instilled in her a love for all animals and a strong desire to own her own land someday where she could make a permanent home for herself and her hairy quadrupeds.
Combining family with career, Tanya jumped into the print and digital advertising world, working with Fortune 100-500 clients. During her 19 years of publicity and marketing, Tanya acquired a wealth of experience, professionalism, and strong negotiating skills in dealing with a broad spectrum of demanding clients. Her high energy, positive attitude, and sense of humor kept her clients smiling, while her professionalism and proficiency kept them reassured.
In 2017, Tanya decided to make a career change and apply her publicity and marketing expertise toward becoming a Texas REALTOR®. Through buying and selling many homes of her own, she gained valuable insight into the world of real estate. Those experiences instilled in her the strong desire to become a licensed agent and to help others in the process of buying and selling real estate. Tanya’s passion is solving her client’s problems, whether they are buying or selling a residential property, farm, or ranch. And, she will work tirelessly to help you achieve your property goals and will make the process enjoyable, all the while keeping your dreams her priority.
Tanya and her husband, Chris, bought acreage in northern Parker County where they built their “forever” home. They might consider themselves empty nesters if it weren’t for a house full of dogs and cats to keep them company. From growing up in Fort Worth and Parker County, Chris’ deep family roots wanted to be firmly planted in a small town’s soil. Poolville proved to be just the right place to settle down. In Poolville, they enjoy small-town values, getting to know their neighbors, and pitching in when needed.
Tanya loves the outdoors and spends her leisure time landscaping, gardening, camping, biking, wildlife watching, and going to the gun range. She and Chris love traveling together, going to rodeos, and listening to live country music. Another joy is quality family time with their adult children and toddler grandson.
